Hey all,

Can anyone give me a "quickie" on how to restrict to just being able to reset passwords in C1 or NwAdmin for Novell 6?

Thanks

An easier method would be to use iManager and give the user in question only the HelpDesk roll. With this roll, the user will only be able to unlock accounts and change passwords.

true but imanager is not working on my system - haven't tried to fix that yet

why not. that is the question.

I believe you can assign the password management trustee right within Nwadmin but imanager is much easier and it gets the help desk people away from dicking around in NWADMIN. They only have the one thing they can do, which is how it should be.
