Hollo,

I use an avaya G650 media gateway and i have the following problems/questions:

- i have to restrict about 100 outside phone numbers (i mean to deny those numbers to call my system); the problem is that i notticed a huge delay till the IVR takes his role; (by the moment to restrict these numbers i use vectors of 32 lines, u know...); my question is how to restrict without huge delay?

- does anybody know why my IP phones go down in the middle of the conversations? traffic? (if any available links or documents..pls send me :) )

- is it possible to find out (real time) which are the connections to my system? (i use ASA 3.0.8)

Thanks

The easiest way to restrict outside numbers to call your system is to talk to your provider. That way those calls will never reach your system at all.

Thanks for this idea, but i would like to configure my system this way without implying the provider...

Waiting for other options...

in that case: can you do an ANI check in the vector and route to a disconnect step if the ANI is in vector routing table x? In VRT x you enter the numbers you want to block.

Regarding:

Not sure what you mean but if you want to know the ip extensions connected to your system use list registered-ip-stations.
