Hello All,

Using a Panasonic TDA50 with the TVA50 voicemail system. Apparently some remote caller gained access to an outside line and dialed international calls using this system. Telco service provider restricted the international calls on this account so unable to make international calls. Telco provider stated that telephone system may have been compromised. Any help on how to secure the system to prevent remote callers from placing outbound calls would be greatly appreciated. Now there is an option where if a caller transfers to an extension, the voicemail system gives the option to dial that person's cell phone number. Would not want to restrict that though.

Thank You,

Put the TDA's DLT lines that connect to the TVA into CoS 7, so the voicemail system is unable to dial out.

Then create a PS on the TDA that forwards to the cellphone number.

Then configure the mailbox's personal custom service to assign a button to transfer to the new PS ext, which goes to the cellphone.
