Hello!

We are looking to lock down a specific COR on our Mitel 3300 so that the phones in that COR can only call that COR.

..Basically, we have a group of individuals using our system, but they are seperate from the rest of our regular staff. Therefore, we would like to make sure they can not directly contact the other staff VIA phones. We also want to keep them from calling externally, but I have already accomplished this piece.

I set up a new COR (20) and set my phone to this COR. I then placed 20 on the COR Group assignment list to block the calls. However, I can still call my teammates and they can still call me. Basically, I can still call any internal extension, not just extensions with a COR of 20.

use the TENANT assignment form as first choice for this task. Assign the new users to tenant 2 then block tenant 2 from tenant 1 (Tenant 1 is the default for all users).

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Thanks NYTalkin.

This sounds lame, but where is the TENANT form at? I'm looking through the forms on the controller, but I am not seeing this one.

@JOlinski
COR is only restircted trunk call.
You need to enable Tenanting License to access tenanting assignment.
If you don't have such license, you could use interconnect restriction.

Thanks MitelChi.

I will take a look at the interconnect restriction, because we definitly don't have the Tenant licenses.

I've never setup or used the interconnect restrictions, so I may be back for more help. :)

There is quite an in depth configuration of class of restriction groups using ARS digits dialled, there are quite a few steps to get this set up, but once complete this will allow easy configuration of specific number prefixes or full numbers.
The forms you need to configure include..

Class of restriction groups
ARS Routes
ARS Route Lists
ARS digits dialled

I know this doesn't answer your question but gives you some references to investigate.
