restricting inbound in CCM from a caller ID

i wanted to restrict calls from a specific caller ID into call manager, will route pattern or translation help

anybody has a good document to start

just wanted to mention that i am using MGCP gateways...and so i am just trying to find a way to restrict them in call manager or on gateways

I have only seen this when H.323 was used...

I am not sure that MGCP will help you in this case...

Since the 'D' channel is backhauled to the CCM there is nothing you can do in an MGCP gateway. I don't know of any way to stop a call based on CLID in CallManager.

If this is a business requirement you will have to change your gateway from MGCP to h323 controlled protocol.
