Good Day,

Let's say we have a certain user who owns a directory structure. I like to assign to a different user access to a certain directory within this directory structure and allow this user to read and write only.

Is it possible?

Without more detail, I'd say Group permissions. Make them be in the same group, or give the second one group membership to the first group, then set the directory to be owned by that group, and have group read+write+execute bits set.
