Good Morning All,
Recently setup my first Merlin Legends system for a local business, and I am not used to this particular system. Is it possible to restrict usage of a line to one user? For security reasons, we don't want employees to be able to listen in on conversations, at least without warning. I have the PC GUI interface if that makes things easier.

Thanks!

If you are in Key mode, or you've assigned the lines individually (you are not dialing 9 for an outside call), assign Privacy to the extension that you don't people to barge in on. Or assign a button to toggle Privacy on and off, so they will have a light as reassurance that the feature is turned on (but they can also press the button to toggle it)

At the phone, on the Intercom/SA button, dial #31 to turn ON, dial #*31 to turn OFF

To create a button, press SPKR (on intercom or SA), dial #00, press the button to be programmed, dial *31, press SPKR to exit

Thanks, that got me in the right direction! Turns out you push "FEATURE 31" on the MLX phones.
