Norstar 4.1
NAM using the Automated Attendant.

Is there a way to restrict certain extensions from being called through A/A?

The A/A is used 24/7.

The owners don't want certain extensions receiving ANY calls to prevent personal call through the A/A, particularly at night.

For example, extension 245, 246 and 247 are on the manufacturing floor.

"You have reached Acme Printing...." 2-4-5 REJECTED!

These phones do need to receive internal calls - always from other internal phones.

Any ideas?????? [bigears]

Upgrade to a Call Pilot, and you can block extension dialing from the AA. That's a global setting per table, though. I know other systems enable the blocking on a per extension basis, but Norstar does not.

There are workarounds, though. If you want to enable a few, you could build a CCR path 2,3,1 to transfer to x231...
