Does anyone know a way to keep certain users from creating a local .PST file? Our company wants a certain group of users (finance) to always have their email stored on Exchange, so nightly tape backups will always archive ALL their email.

Most users have a local .PST file where they can have email delivered, thus keep us from backing up their entire email.

It will cost you but the best one out there right now is PST Attender by Sherpa software. Check them out. Have them set up a demp. If your company thinks PST's are an issue then this is your software.

Appreciate the feedback - will take a look at what they have.

Just reconfigure those emailclients to use Exchange in corporate mode, no PST.
But, you will need to restrict them reconfiguring their PC's. Apply policies to restrict Setups and control panel.
