Can someone please direct me or assist with cmd on how to restrict a specific extension from making external calls? That specific extension must only be able to make calls to telephones internally. Maybe also the different restriction classes.

Many thanks

Not an easy task in this system. We usually do toll restriction through the LCR tables. It would take a qualified tech some time to first see how your system is programmed, then modify or add LCR, then set up toll restriction tables. I attached some documents that may assist you, however I strongly suggest getting a certified NEC tech in to set it up.

That is above my limited knowledge of PC Pro. I thought it's just drop downs i can click to change the class, or a 2-3 step command and that's it. Thank you belvedere.

LCR and toll restriction are the two most difficult things to program in this system. I worked with many certified techs who were completely lost in it. But, a certified tech can get assistance from NEC NTAC.

If you don't want any external access, you could create a new tenant and put this extension in that tenancy. You then just block access to the trunks from that tenant. The one problem with this is that emergency calls are also blocked, that said, if this matters, make sure the restriction class allows emergency calls should you go down that path.
