hi

I have two Tru64 machine and i don't want to a user while working one of it can connect to another one by telnet .Is it possible to restrict a username telnet request from another machines ?

thanks for all helps and the person(s) who created this forum.

Are you trying to restrict by host or account? if you are restricting by host, try tcpwrappers... if by account, take a look at the /etc/securetty file.. I dont know Tru64 well, but I think that may help...
