restoring mailbox (exchange 2000) and Backup Exec 8.6

There is some user deleted with the additional mailbox.

But today they need to login in that mailbox.
I want restore one mailbox like jim@some.com i add already the user to Active Directory and try somethings.

The errors in my job log are :
Access denied - unable to restore file

I'm only restore Exchange Mailboxes and the specific mailbox
and for specific options i try a redirection to a other mailbox but everything that i try gives that error

can someone help me pls

Hi,

I can give you only 1 tip about the deleted user. When you make a new account with the same name it will not work, because every user gets a unique security ID even when the username is the same. The mailbox is linked to a security ID and not with the username.Try to restore a old SAM database (backup first the new one) from the time you had not deleted the old username. I hope this will help.
