Restored project claims file is new in VS2005

I recently moved a project from one database to another.

Then I "get latest version" of project and open in VS2005 which reports that 2 files are "new" and the tooltip claims the "item has been deleted on the server". Which they are not! they exist in the db and were retrieved when "get latest version" action was carried out.

Attempting to check in these files, does nothing. They are still indicated as "new" etc.

Any ideas on how I fix this?

You can try rebinding the project again, or try deleting the local copy and than opening the project from source control.
