Restore Unable To Create Directory

Help. Trying to do a home folder restore of files and folders to another system--data migration to a new server. 16 out 93 folders will not restore and give an "3302 Unable to create directory" error. Any ideas?

start by trying to find out about permissions

Permissions are the same for old folders and new subfolder. We are moving them from one server to another and have the same set up. But only a portion of the files and folders went over w/o a problem. Weird how it only took some.
