Restore to another SysID

If I have a back up form one system and it goes down and I want to take the file and restore it to another system or just copy all the settings and configurations with the same inventory and software will I be able to restore or is the restore file only applicable to the sysid that I backed up?

It will restore to another KSU except for any key codes like PRI
