Can I restore a system image created in a non-RAID environment into a RAID 1 array environment?

The attempt to restore proceeds to the final step, the restart, but will not boot into the new system image in the RAID 1 array. Startup Repair cannot fix the problem.

To amplify my previous post:
Startup Repair Log
System Disk=\Device\Harddisk0
Windows Directory = C:\Windows
AutoChk Run=0
Number Root Causes =1

Root Cause Found: Unspecified Changes to system configuration might have caused problem.
Repair Action
System files integrity check and repair
Result: Failed. Error Code = 0x490
Time Taken: 531885 ms

Motherboard: Intel DP67BG

firstly, which imaging software are we talking about?

read this discussion with a possible fix, if it is a Windows_Image that we are talking about:

System Image file won't restore on newly created RAID mirror

other than that, I can only recommend that you would use a cloning tool or image utility such as:

Paragon Migrate OS to SSD

or better yet

Drive Copy 11 Professional

How to ask a question, when posting them to a professional forum.
Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no"

Did you install the raid drivers into the system image, if not, then no it won't boot.
