restore public folder dillema

I'm having major issues with public folder contents vanishing, this is another story for now. I need to restore the contents of ONE public folder from last weeks backup, I cant restore it directly to the live server b/c I cant restore the folder by itself w/o the rest of the pub database, and this will overwrite all of this weeks entries. I have another dummie server in the same site that i can restore it to, But then its going to replicate all of the lastest changes from the restore anyway ...

Have you made any headway with the public folder contents disappearing? I am having the same problems.

none, it got worse. 2 more folders contents vanished ,I still had a good replica copy on a different server so I pst'd it, I plan on making pst files of all the folders, deleting the pub.edb and stm and letting exchange recreate a new database, then copy the data back in, theres def some type of corruption 01110000

Keep a copy of the blank Edb it will come in handy later. If you need to do the same thing!

Are you scanning the M drive? The Exchsrvr folders? If so stop it ASAP. Dan
