Here´s my situation.
I have Veritas Netbackup 4.54 Business Server running on a Windows 2000 server as the host. My client is a NetApp Filer (UNIX box). I run the backups fine. Catalogs are created. Successful. But I have a major problem when trying to restore from tape (SDLT). I put one of the successfully backed up SDLTs in the tape drive (which is connected to the client) and open the Veritas netbackup from my host machine. I go to Backup, Archive and Restore, where in one of the window panes is supposed to appear the Netbackup History. But nothing appears but a warning window pane saying:
"WARNING: server X does not contain any backups for client Y using specified policy type (MS-Windows NT) as requested by client X"
I am under pressure to restore some important files and have come unstuck by this problem. Hope someone can help me!
Thanks!
