Hi all,

We are trying two migrate an existing IP Office SE R11.0 on VMware to new IPO SE R11.1
All configuration is duplicated between two IPO, I need now to migrate the Media Manager recording files (WAV) to the new Media Manager (on IPO R11.1)
I tried full backup of VMPro within IPO R11.0 then try to restore it on the VMPro of IPO R11.1, but not working, cannot find backup file when I click "restore" button on the IPO web page (port 7071).

Any idea how I can migrate recordings ?

Thank you.

Read the 11.1 SP1 upgrade documentation. There is no need to "migrate" to a new server. However, if you insist, you're going to have to detach the virtual disk that stores the call recordins from the existing server and attach it to the new server (and probably enable the new disk through the new server's web control).

The Web Manager backup/restore has only ever included the Media Manager configuration. The recordings on their separate drive have never been included.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hi sizbut,

Many thanks for your feedback, the customer want to keep the recording on the new Madia Manager

So as per your suggestion, I think the better way is to detach the virtual HDD of existing Media Manager and attach it to the new one.

Thank you.

...just don't reformat the disk. That checkbox in webcontrol is very easy to tick.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
