restore individual mailbox

Hi there,

I am disapointed and curious at the same time. Got the exchange agent and BE 8.5 with the intention to do individual mailboxes. And it sure does that. But the restoring proces does not make any sense. In order to restore individual mailboxes you have to restore the entire information store. It also states that this procedure cannot be perfored on a production server.

Do I really need another exchange box to perform this task?
How would I restore a mailbox onto a different account?

If you'll be so kind to post steps, would greatly appreciate.

I have BE 7.2 and the Exchange Server. I can restore a folder of a particular mailbox by drilling down to it -- Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes / (mailbox name ie John Doe) / Top of information store / (folder name ie Journal).
It won't let me chose an item in the folder, just the whole folder.
The retore can be done with or without redirection, as with any kind of restoration. With redirection you can designate a server or a mailbox.
