Restore Hyper-V (RAW)

How do I restore a succesfully backed up Hyper-V (RAW) job to a different Hyper-V Host ? When i choose to restore the (RAW) VM the destination tab is grayed out.

Arcserve 12.5 Standard
12.5 Windows and 12.5 VM Agent on the HOST.

don't know but the VM manual is pretty good so start there,
still need help then check the tech docs for 12.5 at the ca support site.

I confirmed with CA Support ...If you Restore and choose "Recover Virtual Machine" you must restore the VM to it's original location. However if you use Restore by "Session" you can restore your "RAW" VM backup to any destination.

They do allow recovery of VM to original and alternate location. Even though the destination tab is grayed out, user can provide entire information within the source tab – including the hyper-v host to which the VM should be recovered.

With WIN-WINDOWS 2008 R2 SUPPORT + CUMULATIVE UPDATE 1 patch, which was released post r12.5

we support recovery of Hyper-V VMs to alternate hyper-v host.

The same is not supported with r12.5
