restoing files to inbox

hi,
one of my users managed to delete their inbox (r5.0.6), which came back as i refreshed the database design.
The problem is, none of the mails which were there previously, are still in the inbox. Incoming mail is delivered to the inbox, and i COULD go through 'All Documents' and copy them back into the Inbox.
The problem i have withthis,is that there are over 4000 documents in the all documents folder.

Does any one know of a way that i can restore the documents to the inbox?

Yeah recover it from the backup that you have :eek:)

that was my next courese of action , but i was wondering if there was a way of restoring the vieww?
