Hi,
Is there a way to restart Exchange Event Service automaticlly in a predefined time interval (e.g every 8 hours or daily)?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Wilson

There may be dependent services, I would have to check. You can write a simple batch file to stop the service and another file to restart the service. If you are using win2k, you could then use the task scheduler to run your two batch files at a predetermined time.
@echo off

echo.
echo.Stopping all Exchange Services...
echo.

net stop MSExchangeES
net stop MSExchangeMTA
net stop MSExchangeIS
net stop MSExchangeDS
net stop MSExchangeSA

here is an example of a batch file to stop all the exchange services. Use net start to restart the services. Hope this helps
