Restarting Appplications in Sig Server

Has anyone restarted an application in the signaling server using CLI? I cant access Element Manager or the servers web page directly but, I can log in with my credentials through the serial port. I would rather try restarting the applications through the CLI first before I need to reboot the server and have all 400 phones register again.

What application were you thinking of restarting? You can restart all Nortel Applications but that will cause your phones to deregister also.

from the cli: appstart restart

That is what I do, but like KCFLHRC stated, it restarts EVERYTHING.

Use with caution.

You can restart a single application, if you know the name of the application
for example
appstart vtrk (virtual trunk service)restart
or another
appstart tps (telephony proxy service)restart
