HI
I have 3 project files (.mpp) and one resourcepool.mpp.
When I open any of the project files a dialog box opens giving me a choice of opening the resource pool or not, as the project will always need to open the resource pool how can I make this the default and the dialog not appear.
I’m sure this can be done with VBA but I need some pointers to get me started, any help would be great.
Thanks
B

Hello badvoc64,

Sorry, VBA is not one of my strong suits. You may be able to get a start by posting to the Microsoft Forum focused on development with Project. If you post there, please specifically state what version of Project you are using. There have been some minor code changes between 2010 and earlier releases.

See:

However, as a question -- if you remove the dialog box, how would you get to the other two important choices? The command already defaults to "Open the resource pool......" you just need to press enter.

I hope this helps.
Julie
