We just migrated to Exchange 2003 and I have a few questions about how resource mailboxes work.
I noticed that when a person sends an invite to the resource account, the e-mail remains in the resource account's inbox. Is there a way to have the e-mails be automatically deleted after the meeting is booked?
I noticed that the meetings show up as "tentative" on the resource calendar. Is there a way for the resource meetings to show as "busy"?
Is there any way for the resource mailbox to confirm that a meeting was booked by sending a notice back to the meeting originator? I'm assuming that the only way that this can be done is with a script. We had a script that worked in Exchange 5.5 but sometimes it stopped working and required the Exchange server to be rebooted. Are scripts more reliable in Exchange 2003 than in Exchange 5.5?
Thanks everyone for your input.
