I'm placing a large number of different sized graphics and want to resize them all to one size at once - rather than one at a time. I can't find a way to do this.
Also is there a way to specify a size for a graphic, rather than dragging to size?
thanks

Hi

It is impossible to resize all graphics at once in Pagemaker. A good idea is to resize the graphics in their original programm to the size you want them to be, and then place the graphics in Pagemaker.

On your second question use the control pallet to specify a specific size. You must do this by selecting the graphic and then you can cgange the size.

hope this helps

PM doesn´t resize raster images. Because PM is a DTP program,
it enables the user to MAP any graphics file (size defined by pixels)
to a size on the paper, defined by inches or centimeters.
PM transfers in a PostScript workflow the original file to the printer or imagesetter,
accompanied by directives how to scale it for the final raster output.

Therefore, I agree, Grillhouse is right, IMO.

What you see by default, is a convenient interpretation of the original file,
not necessarily an appropriate scaling.

One advice: PM´s MagicStretch is a powerful tool for the synchronization of
raster graphics to a (fictitious) page resolution. Same pixel size can be easily
mapped to same inch/cm size.
