Hello,

I'd like to display hotspots on a control when it is clicked during runtime. The hotspots should look like the resize hotspots you see when you click on a control in the design window - can this be done?

Idea!

So, when a user clicks on a control at runtime - I can temporarily increase the size of the control and draw a rectangle around the border that makes it look like the control is highlighted. Not sure yet how to get the hotspot boxes in there - but I could always use the resize cursor images that .net already supplies.

Does anyone know of a good Pen design that would achieve a selected look around the border?

By hotspots do you mean the drag nodes? those little rects on corners? Check on the ControlPaint class.

hope this helps. ;)

Is there any particular Draw method you had in mind - there doesn't appear to be one that does what I require out of the box.

After some investigation, I found that DrawGrabHandle was the method I needed.

Thanks
