I am combining three images.
One image that I am combining is a horse. I have deleted the background of the horse so it is by itself.

I want to combine the image to another landscape unfortunately the size of the horse is to large for the landscape so thus it looks out of porportion.

I have found one way to resize using a wizard for example help>resize image (and follow the wizard)

is this the only way?

If you are using Photoshop, there are two main ways. The first is Image->Resize which will resize the entire image. The second is Edit->Free Transform which will resize a specific layer of the image. I'm guessing you want the Free Transform option.

kiddpete,

Thanks this is exactly what i wanted

...it is also useful to change the layer to be transformed to a smart object, if you have CS3...

...that way the resolution is maintained, and image degradation of you pulling the image around, from smaller to bigger is handled much better...

...it is also the way to apply smart filters, much the same way as you would apply layer styles, they are non-destructive and flexible...
