I have been using SalesLogix CRM for about a year now. I have remote clients who have local instalation on their desktops. After a recent upgrade, One of my remote XP machines has been having this particular problem: Some of the pop up windows within the application open up in a pre-set sized window that does not display the complete contents of the form (i.e. the Ok and Canel buttons are cut off.) you cannot resize the window. Some of them have scrollbars, but others do not.

SalesLogix is designed to fully integrate with M$ and the application is Visusl Basic. I have the ablility to turn the scrollbars on and off, but that is still ugly. how can I get Windows XP to recognize the size that the window is supposed to be?

BTW her screen resolution is 1280x1024 so it is not a real-estate issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Kristine

You say you open the program using a shortcut on the desktop.
How about adding this to the beginning:
Code:
start /max
So, all together it would be something like:
Code:
start /max program.exe

Will this work for you? If not, why?

tina2,

You may want to check to see if you screen resolution has changed.
Trying increasing the resolution - (Control Panel / Display / Settings) by moving the screen resolution slider to the right.

I have had similar problems with other programs. Try turning off the theme settings under compatiblility. That worked for me.
