After our previous system admin left the company, no one seems to know the password to remotely dial into our Option 11C system. Our system is in another building and when I have to make a change or fix something, I'd like to simply dial into the system and do the changes remotely. However, when I dial in, I just get a blinking cursor. It appears that I need to type in a password to continue? I tried the Option 11C password that I use at the console, but this doesn't work. Is there a way I can change or assign a new password via the console?

Thanks for any help.

There is no way to reset the seb password unless you have the seb monitoring program. You can contact teltronics(941)753-5000 in Florida to reset it for you or you can replace the seb with a standard external modem.

Also, if you have a maintenance contract with an outside vendor, they will most likely have the SEB password.
