can anyone please tell me what to do...

i need to access this system asap
this is not in use so even if i have to wipe the memory it does`t matter

thanks
please post your suggestions

If you can't type anything in the terminal then you are going to be a bit stuck.
Are you using a USB to RS232 or is it direct onboard serial? Can you check with another laptop?
Also look at this thread The reset procedure should be the same regardless of controller type i.e. CXi or CXi II, the issue you will have is the version of software.
If you have MCD 4.2 you are most likely screwed as I don't think deleting the usrprfle.db helps. From MCD 5 there is a command as mentioned in the thread by nekminnit

cd "db/database/files"
rm "Usrprfle.db"

Try with, and without capitol u on usrprfle

thanks for the reply guys.

i haven`t tried that with a different laptop. i should do that as well.
version is 5.5.2
BSP V 3.0/6

thanks for the reply anyway guys will see how this works and let you know.

hi guys

i have tried it on another computer but till the same

-> icon is appearing after the boot up for some reason.

thanks

-> icon is NOT appearing after the boot up for some reason.

sorry

hi sarond

thanks for the reply
im using RS232 direct to onboard serial.
im sure the command Reset_all_login_passwords command is working because i have tried that on a MXe and it did work.
the only issue i have it i cannot type anything on the hyperterminal session

-> icon is NOT appearing for me to type any command
