Reset Passwords in AD and unlock accounts

Hi guys,

I want to make a small app for the operators here to be able to reset users passwords and unlock the account if it is locked out. I know how to do it with vbscript but would like to do it as my first VB project. Is it possible and could someone please enlighten me on the how.

Hello,

I have been looking for a vbscript like this. I started out as a Net Admin recently for a 1000 user base. I get so many lockout calls it just consumes my time. I am the only IT person there so my time is valuable. All I want it to do is detect whether any accounts are locked out and if it is then reset the lockout and reset the password automatically and forcing the user to change their password when they logon. Could you possibly let me have a copy of that script or maybe guide me to where I might be able to get it.
