Reset password compaq 8port kvm switch

We use a lot of the compaq 8 port kvm switches. We never use a password in these switches, because access to the serverroom is restricted. But for some #$%^&@ reason, someone used a password on one switch. And nobody knowes the password.

I've tryed to solve the problem by flashing new firmware in the switch, but that did not work. We've called HP but they could only give me 2 passwords that SHOULD overrule the entered password. But that didn't work.

Now, HP suggests that we send the switch to a company which will flash a new "bios" in the switch. But that is a very expensive method.

Can anyone help me?
