reset page on change of group

I got a problem and have a memory blank lol lol
i have a group1 and kepp group together check at the bottom of the page footer i have page n of m
i check page footer the format section to new page after and also reset page number
i have a group that has more than one page for the same group.
how can i set my page n of m to say page 1 of 2 and the reset
for the next group

u should use resep pagenumber for group footer and not page footer

I did move it to the group footer section and check reset page number
and check print at bottom.
but on the first page a get nothing but on the second page i get 2 of 2 but want to show 1 of 2 and 2 of 2

why do u need print at bottom option and for what

the reason i want it print at bottom of page for i have the page footer suppress.
If i dont check print at bottom in the group footer it show half way on the page 2 of 2

i want at the bottom of page 2 of 2
as for now i have the first page and the detail goes all the page and the page footer page number is missing
on the second page i have the detail witch is not a complet page and it shows on the bottom group footer page 2 of 2

I place the page n of m field in the group footer
when i place it in the page header is fine i get 1 of 2 and the next page 2 of 2
but i want it in the bottom on the page not the top part

u can't place page numbers in Gf as if u have a group running into pages then it will be seen only once. so have your page footer and move ur page number to that
 
It sounds like you want the group footer to print on every page, even if the group spans more than one page - not possible. You'll have to use the page footer to show the Page N of M. If you format the Group Footer as 'Print at Bottom of Page' and 'Reset Page Number After', you should get the desired result.
