I'm hoping there's someone on here that's old enough to remember how to do this! I remember it's with Hyperterminal or similar, there are three commands, but I don't recall what they are! I have googled with no success. All help very much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, don't understand your answer.

I remember having to enter three lines of AT commands to reset to factory.

Then I guess you class suggesting the answer of those three AT commands as an incomprehensible answer to your question.... :)

he already gave you the 3 commands

ACSS-SME,ACSS Avaya Aura Session Manager and System Manager,ACSS Avaya Scopia Solution,ACSS Avaya one-X UC Soft Clients,ACSS Avaya Session Border Controller, ACSS Avaya Aura Messaging,
ACSS Avaya Aura Call Center Elite, ACSS Avaya Aura CM and CM Messaging,ACIS Avaya Aura CM and CM Messaging, ACIS SME, ACIS Avaya CM 5.2.1

No, that's an alternative, you just need AT-X2 and AT-X3 that's it. AT-X will also wipe the operating system/firmware.
What you remember is the long hand version

AT
at-debug
eraseconfig
erasenvconfig
abort

Connect a PC with comms software as Putty to the NA using 38400,8,N,1 as the comms settings.
Power up the NA while repeatingtly pressing the escape button ( once per second ) until the bootloader appears.
Then type AT-X3 and wait until it is done, then type AT-X2 and wait until it is done.
Reboot the unit and monitor the output, the IP Addresses are shown in HEX and the unit is operational if it states "TA is started".

AT-X returns error.

AT-DEBUG, eraseconfig, erasenvconfig worked a treat.

If AT-Debug works then you are not in the bootloader, AT-X commands only work from within the bootloader. Older versions of the NA did not support AT-DEBUG so to be sure of a working solution I adviced the AT-X procedure.
