Hi Guys,

I am new to Meridian and would like to know how to reset a M3903 phone mailbox password if a user forgot it.

Thanks

You Can log into the voice mail. Once you have a session open to the Meridian. Type in ax then enter
this will open meridian mail.
I think this is the route
go to voice administartion
user search
search for the mailbox
you can reset from there.
I am not sure my steps are correct but it is easy in voicemail

Thanks for the reply but I am not sure I understand you. I need to reset the users mailbox password.

Hi novelluser, when you connect to the switch and see this prompt > Type AX

To go from PBX commands to VOICEMAIL (in Hyperterminal)
1. Go to “File”, “Properties”, “Settings” and set the terminal emulation to VT100.
2. At the >, type “AX”
3. Hit “F1” to bring up the command bar at the bottom.
4. Hit “F1” again to Logon

To go from VOICEMAIL back to PBX (in Hyperterminal)
1. EXIT all the way out of VOICEMAIL, back to where F1 says “logon” (lower left button)
2. Go to “File”, “Properties”, “Settings” and set the terminal emulation to VT52.
3. hit “Ctrl ]” TO EXIT

I hope it helps.

The AX command only works if you have Meridian Mail and an Option 11.

The tech would need to either use CallPilot Manager to login and reset the mailbox pwd if he/she has CallPilot or use the maintenance terminal for Meridian Mail if the site has some other pbx beside and Option 11
