Is there a native tool in Win2K that will allow you to reset all the local administrator passwords on either workstations or servers within a domain? I know there's SMS and other 3rd party tools. But I'm looking for a tool or technique that is build into Win2K. Right now when the pw expires I have to visit each machine or connect to each machine and change the pw manually. Security department doesn't allow us to use the PW NEVER EXPIRES option.

Thanks,
Nicole

from the Resource Kit use 'rclient' to open a shell on the remote machine, then you may change the password using 'net user name pwd'
hope this will help

Or cusrmgr also available on the resource kit will let you change the passwords remotly from a bat file. Provided you run it logged in with a domain admin rights account.
