Reset autonumber to 1

I have a database i've been testing. I'm ready to put it into production but want to set the autonumber field back to 1 to start. How can I do that ?

Seen lots of requests for that one. Just do a Keyword serach... But, essentially, you need to add a new autonumber field and compact the database.... Steve Medvid

Delete all the test records from the suspect table and do a COMPACT. First new guy will start back a '1' Remember, you're unique - just like everyone else

All you have to do is delete the autonumber field from the table..save the table and recreate the autonumber field again and when you open the table the first record will start at 1.
