Are there some Macola resellers that can program code or have source code? Meaning can anybody outside of Macola / Exact make a change within software or how can reseller effect standard memo options.
 
For anyone reading this thread:

(Kill me now, I sound like a sales person..., but as a service-oriented geek, I still present this case)

One giant leap forward Exact has made for any multi-division company was their acquisition of Vanguard. With Exact Business Analytics, you can easily bridge any logistics/commission/sales/financial reporting gaps within Exact products - especially for multi-divisional implementations where the biggest ROI can happen.

No Crystal issues, and less maintainance overhead - build the cube views and carry on. You can apply all sorts of filters to address different division requirements. You could apply all sorts of calculations and filters to address either the logisitics or the commission issues.





 
Then I guess I really don't understand the answer coming from both the reseller / Consultion and our corp office. When they say that commissions has been determined to be always been done out of Exact / Macola / E-Synergy / Progression. Meaning that the above mention can capature the information but to handle the "how" the commission is calulated then it is up to end user.

For example. Our commision is like this

Basic is given to certain sells achievements, once reached they percentage start. Like 20 or 30 percent, then if order has additional things like a down payment a % is added, if the sell certain components additional % is added. If they finance a certain way another % is given.

I can compile the information pretty easy in Access and produce a add on for the extra but I don't see that the other Exact or any component of Exact could every compile the information and produce a commission report that takes into account all the extra considering the base they if they acheive the base then do the 20 or 30 % then add the extra % for other items sold or how it was finance or if they had a down payment paid within 7 to 10 days.

I just simply do not see this thing every being able to compile it, maybe it can throw the information into a report but calulating it, I again have to say it will not be able to do it.
