Good afternoon,

The system is installed with 3 terminals being used by bartenders and 2 by servers. We need the server terminals to print to the service bar order device, but not the 3 bartender terminals.
I've turned off the order device under the User workstations in question, but it is still printing to that order device. The print class "Service Bar" only has the service bar selected, no local orders, etc.
I've restarted, reloaded the DB, et. al. - yet it still keeps printing even through we don't want it to. I'm confused. Most of my issues revolve around a printer Not printing when its supposed to.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Do you use KDS Kitchen Themes or Order Types? If so Micros changed something around when kitchen themes came out that I believe the order type setting takes precedence to where things get printed. Check POSCONFIG, System, Order Types, Order Devices. I know at one location we had to make a "Bar" order type to stop the bar chits from printing at the service bar printer

No KDS, and No Kitchen themes in use. Just double checked, but there's none configured.
Hence my confusion. When I go to User workstations, the Bar terminals only have "Kitchen Printer" checked under order devices. "Service Bar" is only checked for the server's workstations. In theory, the Bar workstations shouldn't even know the Service bar exists.
Here's a thought: The condiments are set to print to all printers. It's my understanding they follow the main menu item for printing. Is it possible the condiment is making the main menu item print? This still presents a problem, as I do need that condiment to print for the servers so the bartender knows how to make the drinks.

Thanks, CJ

*Solved

You have uncheck all the options in the Revenue center print settings, otherwise it overrides the user workstation settings

Could you expand on how you solved this?
Going to "Revenue Centre, RVC Printing" and unchecking everything does not seem to stop the bar chits from printing as you described in your issue. Thanks in advance.

In my issue we were using only 1 revenue center. When you define where the terminals will be printing to under "Devices/User Workstations" <-- this is where the terminals will print. If you then go under the Revenue center and make certain Order Devices "active" by checking the box next to them, then every terminal in that revenue center will always print to that order device, regardless if it was defined under
the User Workstation settings (by overriding it.) So, if you want certain workstations to print or not print within the same revenue center - then don't leave the order devices unchecked in the revenue center because it will override the individual UWS settings.
