res 3700 4xPreConvertTo5x.mcs error

Hi

i'm trying to update 4.9 to 5.x thanks to your help here. i've hit a roadblock.

The res install files i found here don't include the mcs script. i found that in antoher thread here.

When i apply it in Database manager i get errors. here's from the dm.log. Anyone know what's going wrong here? This is me trying 3 times:

6/13/2021 9:12:34 AM Applying Micros Compressed Script to Database
6/13/2021 9:12:35 AM Could not connect to the database. Data source name not found and no default driver specified SQLCODE=0, ODBC 3 State="IM002"
6/13/2021 9:12:35 AM **Error Applying Script Database**, Database Update Failed!
6/13/2021 9:12:35 AM Check Micros dm.log for errors.
6/13/2021 9:13:18 AM Starting database update.

Looks like an ODBC error. Check Windows Event Viewer for more details. Ensure ODBC access permission is properly setup.
