Requirements for member initiated ext. follow me on Hunt Group

Are there any special requirements for the susccesfull initiation of external follw me on a hunting group?

I added two members (both ADN) to a group, but neither can succesfully initiate
* 22 * group number # external number #.

When I add the ODN (on which the ADN is placed) to the group, then the ADN is able to activate/deactivate succesfully the procedure.

What is the reason for this? Is it intended this way?
In BC12 the ecf on group by member is a generalization of the market unique function US-17. So maybe Americans know how this should work, cause Alex does not give extended info on this subject.

The problem is:
I want the ADN to be able to initiate ecf on group, without the ODN having to be group member too.

With ADN doing the ecf , you would most likely need to activate this line before entering the ecf code.
Now you don't need that .
Can't be more simpler than that ...

Yes, but I really want the ADN to be group member and ecf initiator and not ODN.
And if ADN initiating ecf is supported, why is it not working?
