I'm on a PC and cannot check a problem I have had with my tables and iframes on a Mac. When I viewed them at my friends house on a Mac, there were some alignment problems or something causing parts of my images to be not visible in the same row I have an iframe placed.

I think it has something to do with how I declared my table widths, or whether or not I use spacer gifs, or ????

It's easier to see than to explain.
I am requesting feedback and advice.

Many, many thanks for your time!

Go here to check it out:
Please note, the problem was not occuring on the first page.
Please go to the "Teachers" and "Schedule" sections and observe the behavior of the tables/images when you move your mouse around and scroll the iframe (on a mac).

Thanks, Pete!
I really appreciate your comments. Yes, I know the font is small, it's a personal preference. For me the tradeoff is more to read without scrolling as opposed to easier to read with more scrolling. And since I am "older" and with eyeglasses, I figure if it works for me it works for others like me...

Thanks,
james

Hey James,

SIte is excellent, a lot of hard work. I dont know why you had your specific problem but the only thing I would say is that iframes are asking for trouble as they have caused me many a nightmare with browser compatibility. If you really want to use it I would suggest trying to do the hard graft with pure frames. Its harder, I know, but a tad better. But I say lose the frames altogether, thats just a personal opinion though...not a technical one!

Works fine on:

Mac Os 9.2.2 Ie 5

Crashes the I-Frames on same Os with netscape communicator4.7.

But that's normal seing that I frames are only netscape comaptible 6x, I think it was anyways, can't remember exactly..

Using IE6 on a PC, I encountered a different problem. In 800 by 600 resolution the whole screen scrolls down (uneccesarily) when clicking on a teacher name. Nice site! Clive

Using ie6 on win98se 800x600

Very nice site evetry thing works ok for me. I didn't get the problem cliveC got of the whole page scrolling but I have small icons with no text for toolbars and very few toolbars open in the top of the browser which I suspect is the difference

Regards
Ian It's not a lie if you believe it!
