1. What is the popular mode of storing common functions - CE repository or in VSS?

2. Is there a way to see what objects reside in the repository and print a report givign name and code? I did not see any in the admin tools.

SORRY - version is CE10 and CR 10.

If you store in CE Repository then you can schedule reports to get the latest versions of Repository Objects when run. So if you make a change to an object and a report has this option set then on the next run it will pick up the latest definition.

Using VSS you would have to make manual changes to all reports that had a particular object/function, etc.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot! My concern is that the repository should not have objects that are not being used in any report or to find out which reports get affected by change to a repository function.
