Repository backup/restore

Has anyone tried to backup/restore the reporting repository before? Is this just a matter of copying all the BO tables in the database?
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Our repository is created on Oracle.

Exporting the tables owned by the repository user and importing them into another database (using the same username) worked fine.

I did this so I could test a repository upgrade.
