reports runtime

When I try to run reports in client side i get error rep-0002 unable to retrieve string from builder file. Once i generate it again at the client side it works fine. BUt this has to be repeated for all the clients. whereas this works fine with me when i test it in test environemnt. What could be the reason for this??

I would check to ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of the Oracle client on all machines. I had a similar issue in the past and that was the cause. Oracle is nothing if not buggy.

well i suppose i have done that. Ive made sure that the client that is running on my PC is the same as that on the production side.
What else could be the problem
