I have a supervisor who use to have the ability to export reports in adobe format via the properties of the report. Now for some strange reason that options does not show up in the format drop down.PDF on her workstation are associated with Adobe. Any suggestions would be great@!!! I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling adobe with no luck.

Well I was going to say look to see if the program was deleted but you already checked that. You may want to verify that adobe is working on the computer.

I believe you would need the full version in order to save as an Adobe pdf.

You might right about the save option but she was able to export before, and I am able to do it without the full blown version.

i am having the same problem bochieboy is. has there been a solution?

I found out that the supervisior had uninstalled one of the PEPS so I had reinstall them. Compare your peps to a system that is working fine. Look in add and remove progs to see if they are all there.

Bochieboy, please explain what a PEPS is? I have encounter the same problem and would like to understand the scope.

The peps are like Windows patches or service packs, you usually get this with installation cd that came with Symposium.

Exporting is a function of the embedded crystal report capability in the SCCS. It allows you to export to a file or application. If you are exporting to a file, there should be no issue about what is installed on your system. If you export to an application (to look at it in a new window), the application must be resident on the pc.

Are you using Classic Client or Web Client interface?
