ReportNet software stack

Could someone please list the software stack for ReportNet i.e. what software do I need to get this thing up and running.

I'm tying to determine if my consultant knows what he is doing. He's implementing on a linex box.

There's not a single "stack" that is required. There's families of components that you can choose from.The list of supported products is on the Cognos website. In addition to the linux box (where I assume the report server/content manager will reside)you need a database for your content store, a database to query against, a web server, and an authentication mechanism.
