Reporting Services - bloated HTML

Hi,

Does anyone know how to cut down on the amount of HTML the report viewer control generates. It's huge and causing users issues with waiting for web pages to render.

I had the same problem years ago with Crystal Report/Crystal Enterprise. My solution was to include the needed HTML as part of the report and output the whole thing as a text file but changing the extention to HTML as I pushed it to the server. There is some complexity in generating well formed HTML but it works great and gives you great control over what it looks like and prevents the blot to which you refer.
